Some of my skills, experience and services within production consultancy include:

• Storyboarding - Helping to plan and outline the visual narrative by creating a sequence of shots that capture key moments, animal behaviours, and environmental elements. Ensuring the storyboard aligns with the production’s creative vision while accommodating the unpredictability of the target species.
• Script checking/editing - Reviewing scripts for factual accuracy, especially regarding animal behaviours, habitats, and ecological information. Editing for clarity, engagement, and scientific credibility, ensuring that the narrative resonates with the target audience and adheres to ethical storytelling principles.
• Footage review - Evaluation of captured footage for quality, accuracy, and alignment with the production’s goals. Identify gaps or inconsistencies in the visual narrative and recommend edits or additional shots to enhance storytelling and coherence. Ensuring that the organisms captured are the species required for the project.
• Footage acquisition - Advise on or coordinate the sourcing of high-quality footage, whether through field shoots or archives. Ensure ethical practices, compliance with wildlife regulations, and the capture of species-specific behaviors or landscapes that match the production’s needs. Where possible, also assist the team with the acquisition of the appropiate licences to allow the work to take place.
• Animal coordination - Advising on animal sourcing, care, and transport to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• On-set support - Supervising live animals during filming or events, ensuring their well-being while helping your team achieve the perfect shot.
